Mark your calendars for the First ever FOUR NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIPS, the most anticipated powerlifting event of the year, hosted by the visionary David Thomas & Dayle Longford. This is the main event that will define champions, set records, and bring together powerlifters from all over. The venue is A 10,000 sq ft sports hall which is ideally located in Wrexham, one thing’s for sure – it’s going to be an epic gathering of strength, determination, and unmatched competition.

Competition Equipment:

  • On platform:
    • Mono lift, Competition bench, Deadlift platform.
    • Squat, Bench, Deadlift bars being used.
    • Warm up area:
    • 3 Mono lifts, 3 competition Benches,32 Deadlift platforms
    • 3 Squat Bars, 3 Bench Bars, 3 Deadlift Bars.

    • Entry opens 1ST March limited spaces available.
    • Competition is open to anybody no membership needed. 
    • Run under GPC rules and referees,  2022 RULEBOOK | GPC-GB (gpcgb.com) 
    • Strict curl will be after bench press during the break, cash prize for biggest weight curled.

    All lifting will take place on the Sunday 21st July
    Weigh ins at the venue 24 hours before 9am-11am, afternoon weigh ins 5pm-6pm,
    And on the day weigh ins 7am-8am. Can you please let us know which weigh in you plan to arrive at by commenting below.

    Provisional flights and times subject to change after weigh in.

    Flight A All women (teen,junior,master,open)

    Flight B All male 60,67.5,75, 82.5

    Flight C All male 90,100

    Flight D all male 110

    Flight E All male 125,140,140+

    Flight A squats start 9am straight into flight B straight into flight C and so on flight D + E. Straight into bench Flight A estimated 1:30pm then Straight into flight B straight into flight C and so on Flight D + E then straight into flight A Deads after flight E bench and so on flight B flight C – E awards will commence 30 mins after Flight E Deads flight has finished.

    Please keep an eye on how the day is running it’s your responsibility to make sure you don’t miss your flight there will be plenty of announcements through out the day.

    Food truck will be on site from 8am competition day.

    There will be a fully stocked bar

    Parking is on site and free.

    The whole event will be streemed LIVE on YouTube with commentators.

    Weigh-In Times – Please note: Twenty-four hours prior to the competition, if it begins at 9 a.m., the weigh-in would occur from 9 to 10 a.m. on the day before the competition. Conversely, if the competition starts at 10 a.m., the weigh-in would be scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m. on the preceding day. Additionally, there is an afternoon weigh-in from 5 to 6 p.m. on that day. On the day of the competition itself, the weigh-ins will be conducted from 7 to 8 a.m. if the competition commences at 9 a.m., or from 8 to 9 a.m. if the competition starts at 10 a.m.
